Accused snake thief leaves damning evidence behind: his son

Wisconsin police have accused a man of stealing a snake from the Great Lakes Pet Expo on Saturday night and leaving his son behind. Cindy Steinle, who runs the reptile exhibit, said a volunteer gave the child a corn snake worth a mere $40 to hold. The kid (whose age wasn't revealed) handed the snake to his dad, who allegedly slipped it into an empty pillowcase and disappeared.
