Man stopped at airport with 49 lizards claims they're food

Jim Morrison may have crooned about becoming the lizard king, but it looks like a German man is more deserving of the title. Customs agents in Munich stopped the 28-year-old with a suitcase full of 49 exotic, live lizards. He offered up an interesting excuse as to why he was traveling with a retinue of reptiles: He was going to eat them, and, as such, didn't need to declare them. Just when officials thought he was full of it, the man offered to bite the head off of one of the lizards right there as proof of his gastronomic intentions. Customs officers turned down the offer and instead confiscated the lizards.
