Man sues telemarketers for wasted time ... and wins

A British man has successfully sued telemarketers for wasting his time. Richard Herman was so sick of repeated cold calls from one company, he promised to invoice them at £10 per minute (about $16) if they called again. They ignored him and kept calling. So Herman recorded the conversations (which totaled about 19.5 minutes) and sued the firm for £195 (about $314) in Britain’s small claims court system. Caught on tape, the company caved and paid Herman in full. Here’s hoping Herman continues his crusade, and starts suing the guys who drop fifty pizza menus through your door every damn week.
