Guy freaks out customers by taking assault rifle shopping
1/18/2013A Utah man whose hobby is reportedly carrying assault-style rifles in public places "to garner reaction" did it again on Thursday night. Joseph Kelley, 22, had an assault-style rifle across his back and a handgun on his belt during an otherwise uneventful trip to J.C. Penney. Shoppers who saw Kelley say they never felt threatened, but they thought his Second Amendment-flaunting shopping trip was unnecessary. "He was in the wrong place and shouldn't be doing this at this location," one customer said. Even Clark Aposhian, a gun advocate, thought Kelley wasn't doing himself — or other gun owners — any favors. "I try not to [carry weapons in public] if it's going to upset … other people around me," he said. [Source]
