Man dies voting, is revived and tells wife he loves her

11/7/2012

Who says dead men can't vote? On Monday in Southfield Township, Mich., an elderly couple were at the township offices filling out their absentee ballots. According to witness Ty Houston, a registered nurse, the man became unresponsive. "He was dead," said Houston, who performed CPR on the man, eventually reviving him. The first question the man asked? "Did I vote?" The man, with a tracheotomy in his throat, told his wife that only two things were important to him: "That I love you and that I finished what I came here to do … vote." The man, who was taken to a hospital, did indeed complete his ballot. [Source]
