Man dies voting, is revived and tells wife he loves her
11/7/2012Who says dead men can't vote? On Monday in Southfield Township, Mich., an elderly couple were at the township offices filling out their absentee ballots. According to witness Ty Houston, a registered nurse, the man became unresponsive. "He was dead," said Houston, who performed CPR on the man, eventually reviving him. The first question the man asked? "Did I vote?" The man, with a tracheotomy in his throat, told his wife that only two things were important to him: "That I love you and that I finished what I came here to do … vote." The man, who was taken to a hospital, did indeed complete his ballot. [Source]
