Man who ran out on bar tab punished with fence through the leg

A man in Manchester, N.H. found himself in an awkward position after he was impaled on a fence he was attempting to scale. Reports say the hapless climber was hot-footing it after allegedly skipping out on a bar tab at a restaurant. It took eight firefighters to free the man and approximately 18 inches of the fence went to the hospital along with him, including the spike that was now part of his leg. While stuck on the fence, the man — whose condition is now stable — was “texting and making phone calls,” said the Fire Department’s Lt. Max Chiasson.
