Manager wants to drop player because he's dating Shakira

​Gerard Pique is one of the best young soccer players in the world. The Spaniard is a member of powerhouse club FC Barcelona and of Spain's vaunted national team. Yet his manager doesn't want him, and it all has to do with pop star Shakira, Pique's girlfriend.

Barca manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly only willing to stay with the team if it dumps Pique, because he believes Shakira is a huge distraction (shocking). It looks like Pique might get the last laugh, because management appears unwilling to part with the talented defender, and may choose him and his superstar girlfriend over Guardiola.
