Best job ever? Bitch-slapping this guy to boost his productivity

All of us have fallen victim at times to Facebook's mystical time-sucking powers, but the site had such a firm grip on San Francisco-based blogger Maneesh Sethi that he needed someone needed to slap some sense into him. Literally. In an innovative, if slightly bizarre, approach to time management, Sethi put an ad on Craigslist offering $8 an hour for someone to slap him every time he used Facebook. He got Kara, a dedicated employee who was willing to deliver unapologetic whacks every time the blogger succumbed to his social media urges. Sethi said his productivity shot from 38 percent to 98 percent during the experiment, though he cited the social element of Kara being there as having a greater impact than her beat-down.  [Source]
