Fat mannequins horrify apparently svelte Reddit users
11/25/2012Reddit is wagging its anonymous finger at an American society that would allow standards of physical well-being to slip to the point where fat mannequins are being manufactured. While it's no secret we've got many plus-sized citizens, department stores nationwide have always made a point to feature skinny, frequently headless mannequins sporting only the smallest sizes. Not any more, apparently. Reddit readers are either responding as if they walked through Wal-mart this weekend with their eyes closed and did not know there was such a thing as love handles, or they're making the point that "hey, fat people's money is just as good as anyone else's".
