Your parents probably do love your sibling more than they love you

A new survey is sure to stir up feelings of childhood angst. If you have siblings, and suspected your parents liked one of them more than you, there’s a decent chance that you’re right. A survey of parents in Britain found that one in 12 parents have a favorite child, and 62 percent admitted they don't treat their kids equally. Many of the parents who had a favorite — 42 percent of that group — said they had a stronger bond with their golden child than with the rest. And a quarter of the parents who played favorites said the apple of their parental eye was the oldest, because they could “do more things” with them. [Source]
