Weedy Washington lights up to celebrate toking legally

What do you do when pot becomes legal? You smoke it! And that's what crowds of Washington state residents did at 12:01 this morning when their law legalizing marijuana kicked in. They gathered at Seattle's Space Needle and at the headquarters of Seattle Hempfest and lit up doobies. A police spokesman manning the blotter posted, "The police department believes that, under state law, you may responsibly get baked, order some pizzas and enjoy a 'Lord of the Rings' marathon in the privacy of your own home." And just like that Washington became the envy of stoners everywhere, with Twitter lighting up with posts like @swallowit's "I need to move here like ASAP." [Source]
