Finally, a university makes marijuana a legitimate academic pursuit

Situated in the heart of primo growing country in northern California, the Humboldt Institute of Interdisciplinary Marijuana Research is being touted as possibly the first dedicated to looking very, very deeply into cannabis in the context of multiple disciplines including economics, politics and psychology. "If anyone is going to have a marijuana institute, it really should be Humboldt State," giggled the institute's co-chair, economist Erick Eschker. We're assuming lectures will be mainly old guys talking about Woodstock and coursework will include making a sweet pipe out of an apple. [Source]
