In news sure to have errant teens doing more toking than passing, a study which concluded that adolescent pot use lowers IQ has been challenged. Researchers tested the IQ of 1,000 people at ages 13 and 38 and found that those who indulged lost an average eight IQ points over that time. Now, a scientist at the Ragnar Frisch Center for Economic Research in Oslo is claiming socioeconomic factors might be responsible for the differences in intelligence.
