Marilyn Monroe’s undies fetch $45K at auction

You'd think after all these years there'd be nary a stitch of clothing left to hawk from Marilyn Monroe's wardrobe. But, sure enough, a pair of bloomers that the famous blonde bombshell wore in the 1954 movie "River of No Return" went for $44,800 at a recent memorabilia auction at a Beverly Hills gallery. The underwear came from the estate of Allan "Whitey" Snyder, Monroe's longtime personal makeup artist.
