7/19/2012Before working moms even had a chance to cheer that Yahoo's newly appointed CEO is pregnant (and hired with full disclosure no less), the mother-to-be has announced she basically won't be taking any maternity leave, sparking a wave of anger and prompting many to call her a sellout. Yesterday, critics and bloggers had begun praising Marissa Mayer for essentially making history by becoming the CEO of a major global company while carrying a child. However, the praise started running in reverse once she clarified that, "My maternity leave will be a few weeks long and I'll work throughout it." [Source]
