Powerball winners keep it real by funding sewage treatment center
3/9/2013Like so many lottery winners before them, Mark and Cindy Hill promised to keep it real after taking home a $136 million Powerball jackpot in November. The Hills really meant it though. The parents of four say their next big purchase won't be a super-yacht or a small principality — none of those fancy luxuries for them. They're putting $50,000 toward a sewage treatment center in Mark's home town of Camden Point, Mo. The Hills also set up a scholarship, sponsored a fire station, and paid for a new ballfield. "They are giving back to the community, just like they said they would," said the town's no-doubt delighted mayor. [Source]
