Gabby Giffords' husband buys AR-15, gets slammed as hypocrite3/10/2013
Conflict is raging after Gabby Giffords' husband posted a pic of himself buying a semi-automatic rifle at a police supply store in Tucson, Ariz., as well as a pistol. Mark Kelly, married to the ex-congresswoman shot in 2011, claims he bought the firearms to illustrate lax rules about background checks. However, pro-gunners are blasting Kelly, calling him a hypocrite and questioning his motives. Kelly, who has campaigned for gun control, allegedly bought the weapons March 5. On March 6 and 7, a pro-gun newsletter reportedly contacted local media, saying they knew about the purchase. The next day, Kelly posted a Facebook photo with an explanation that he plans to turn the guns over to Tucson police. [Source]

Is this hypocritical, or do you think his anti-gun motives were legit?
