Marriage proposal ruined by accidental charity donation
4/17/2012It should have been a dream moment -- landscaper Josh Miller had picked the "perfect engagement ring" for his school teacher girlfriend Cara and the moment to propose had finally arrived. Unfortunately, the dream turned into a nightmare when he realized the ring was missing. He'd hidden it in the pocket of an old coat and then, forgetting it was there, had donated the jacket to his local Goodwill in Buckhead, Atlanta. Sadly, the black ski jacket has already been sold, but Josh retains hope he'll be reunited with the gem. "That ring means more to me than anything I can explain," he told WSB-TV, adding that with or without the ring, their wedding plans will go ahead.
What would you do if you discovered this ring in your pocket?
