NASA is tweeting Mars Rover's journey to the red planet
8/4/2012The newest Mars rover, dubbed Curiosity, will land on the red planet on Sunday, and a team of NASA staffers is planning to tweet its entire journey. Definitely the only Twitter account holder to accurately report in its personal description that it's "currently en route to the Red Planet," @MarsCuriosity recently tweeted that the rover is "less than 500,000 miles from Mars." Because humans love anthropomorphic space vehicles (we suppose they remind us of Wall-E), lots of tweeps have been sending questions and encouragement the rover's way — though not all, with @cafuego tweeting, "Photo or it didn't happen..."
