There's a new cutest cat on the Internet

You likely already know about Maru, the Scottish fold cat whose reign as most-loved Internet cat was long and peaceful. Now, though, there's a usurper to his throne: Enter Shishi-Maru, a(nother) Scottish fold with improbably large eyes and weirdly human mannerisms. The 2-year-old, happy-go-lucky cat has nearly 10,000 Instagram followers as we write this (so basically 100,000 by the time you read it), all of whom, we presume, have tuned in to see Shishi-Maru contemplatively regard his paws, curl into a little cat ball, and yawn.
