Elizabeth Warren makes Scott Brown's Senate stay a short one

11/7/2012

That union vote helped boost Elizabeth Warren into office on election night, restoring historical order in the strongly Democratic state after Brown had scored a stunning upset in a 2010 special election to replace the deceased Ted Kennedy. Even a late "Vote the person, not the party" approach in the $68 million campaign wasn't enough to save Brown, who occasionally strayed from the Republican mainstream. [Source]
