Business chooses to shut down rather than serve same-sex couples

Matt Grubbs believes so strongly that marriage should only be between a man and a woman that he's closing his wedding business. The owner of Discover Annapolis Tours is sacrificing $50,000 in annual revenue he gets from renting his old-fashioned trolleys to couples because he believes Maryland's new law allowing same-sex marriages compromises his religious convictions. A number of wedding vendors nationwide have faced discrimination lawsuits for not accommodating gay couples, and Grubbs is lobbying for an exemption similar to what clergymen receive.
