'Bitter Barista' gets booted by boss he berated on blog
2/13/2013A Seattle coffee shop worker blogging under the name "Bitter Barista" just got a jolt of reality: He's out of a job. Matt Watson, an aspiring hip-hop musician, didn't reveal his name or employer, All City Coffee, while snarking about customers and his boss on his blog. "If you remind me four times that you've ordered decaf, guess what you won't be getting ... " he wrote in one post. In another, he said he was using big words so his boss wouldn't understand them if he found the viral blog. Alas, after a rival coffee blog blew his cover, his boss understood all too well and gave Watson the boot. Now the former barista's probably really bitter. [Source]
