Food editor makes embarrassing typo, changes one letter in 'cook'
1/9/2013Matthew Fort, editor of The Guardian's food and drink coverage, is super excited about a new food section the publication is launching. Fort is so excited that he forgot to spellcheck a tweet announcing the new "Cook" section. Oops. Fort referred to the new section as "cock" in a message to his foodie followers, adding he could "hardly wait." He quickly issued a whoops-hey-sorry-haha-my-bad correction, saying what he really meant. The typo was awkward, but might prove to be a good way to get the section some exposure on social media.
