1/25/2013If giving yourself a break from red meat isn't incentive enough to order a Filet-O-Fish at your next McDonald's gorge-a-thon, maybe the fact that you're giving a break to the fish will be. Well, not the fish in the bun. He's toast. But at least his wrapper will carry a blue seal of approval from the Marine Stewardship Council certifying that the fast-food giant buys only from suppliers that follow sustainable practices in which overfishing is avoided. McDonald's is the first major restaurant chain that can make the claim and is celebrating with the limited launch next month of Fish McBites.
