Scarfing McDonald's fish makes you one eco-friendly fast foodie

1/25/2013

If giving yourself a break from red meat isn't incentive enough to order a Filet-O-Fish at your next McDonald's gorge-a-thon, maybe the fact that you're giving a break to the fish will be. Well, not the fish in the bun. He's toast. But at least his wrapper will carry a blue seal of approval from the Marine Stewardship Council certifying that the fast-food giant buys only from suppliers that follow sustainable practices in which overfishing is avoided.
