McDonald's to release the McBaguette in France
2/24/2012Perhaps it will become the French cousin to the McRib, that elusive sandwich that comes and goes on McDonald's menus, but McDo, as they say in France (ooh la la) is serving up a new sandwich that has people buzzing. For six weeks, starting April 18, McDonald's will sell the McBaguette, a burger made from Charolais beef, topped with Emmental cheese and mustard and served on a baguette, of course.
McDonald's has long tailored its menu to geographic areas, and this sandwich aims to hit the French with what they love: bread. Time will tell if the French are lovin' it.
