Fancy Aussie McDonald's will serve your burger on a plate with cutlery

An Australian "Macca's" is lending burger connoisseurs a touch of class, offering customers plates, cutlery and table service with dine-in meals. Glenn and Katia Dwarte, owners of the franchise in Warilla, south of Sydney, say they came up with the world-first idea when they started serving their parents that way, and other customers requested the same fancy treatment. With the blessing of McDonald's Chicago headquarters, a month-long trial of the scheme started on Monday. "Most were quite excited," said Katia of the burger-scarfers who've tested it out so far.
