22-year-old man pretends to be a high school baller, ruins everything
3/4/2013The Ridgeway (Tenn.) High School basketball team has been kicked out of the state tournament because of one of its players: the one who was a married 22-year-old. McKenzie Sewell reportedly faked a transcript and had his wife pose as his guardian, so he could enroll at the school and fulfill his dream of playing high school ball. As a result of his selfishness (Note to Self: Don't base your life on a 1980s teen comedy), the No. 3 team in the state is done for the year because of its "ineligible player," and the school's administration is under fire for being fooled by Sewell. "A lot of players getting scouted got screwed over," one student grumbled. [Source]
