Jodie Foster is learning yet another hard lesson about the dangers of being a loyal friend to Mel Gibson: A rumor has kicked up that Mel might be the biological father of Foster's two sons. Foster and Gibson became good friends during the filming of "Maverick" in 1994, and Jodie has stood by him since, despite the occasional hateful anti-Semitic rant and allegations that he knocked his ex-girlfriend's teeth out.
