10/12/2012We won't even bother questioning the educational value of a nursery school field trip to a local burger joint, but we would like to know what teacher Melanie Minnie was thinking when she stuffed 19 kids into her supermini car in South Africa. A shopper watched in disbelief as the little ones clambered in Ringling Bros. style — three riding shotgun, six in the hatchback and 10 in the back seat — and alerted the cops. Miss Minnie, who'd already transported a haul of 12 kids without a hitch, was pulled over a block away. She was fined $175 and said this outing would be her teeny school’s first and last. [Source]
