Melissa Etheridge's ex can't survive on $23K per month

Melissa Etheridge's ex, Tammy Lynn Michaels, is demanding more money from the Grammy winner because she's struggling to make ends meet on the paltry $23,000 she's currently receiving each month. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Michaels wants a boost in the child custody payments for their twins, and she says Etheridge shouldn't have a problem with it since the singer makes more than $177,000 per month. Clearly more interested in money than sympathy, Michaels says she grew accustomed to an extravagant lifestyle while the two were together and deserves to have that maintained.
