Men live out pompom dreams, try out as NFL cheerleaders

Two NFL teams looking to staff next season's cheerleading squads got a double dose of testosterone over the weekend when two unlikely candidates tried out. The dream of one fella (yes, we said "fella"), Denver Broncos cheerleader wannabe Sacha Heppell, has already been crushed, while Dixon Hernandez, who tried out for the Houston Texans squad against nearly 1,000 women, could still make it. He's got a good sense of his chances, though: "I was like, 'Why not try out, and just go for it and have some fun?'" he told KTRK. "Who wouldn't want to be a Texans Cheerleader?"
