Mercedes-Benz plans to sell you self-tinting windows

Luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz already has a "Magic Sky" technology that uses electricity to tint your (very expensive) sunroof on demand -- and the automaker reportedly is looking to incorporate the functionality throughout the vehicle. That means that with the flick of a switch you could make the windows and windshields opaque. There's even the possibility that the system could kick in automatically to protect the interior when parked in an especially bright area. Should the technology move forward -- and comply with all existing safety regulations -- it will surely be popular for paparazzi-shy celebs and bad news for intrusive photogs.
