Robot agents are taking over the US-Mexico border1/2/2013
If you're tired of dealing with border agents when crossing between the U.S. and Mexico, don't worry. Those humans are about to be replaced by some cold, unfeeling robots. The border crossing at Big Bend national park in Texas is set to become the first automated border between the U.S. and Mexico next month. The computer will be able to scan citizenship documents or allow travellers to talk with Customs and Border Protection agents remotely. And if you were thinking about sneaking by, they've got robots for that, too. A fleet of drones will be flying overhead, prepared to stop anyone crossing illegally. [Source]
