Meet the 3.25-ounce contender for World’s Smallest Dog
10/24/2012No, that’s not a giant bottle of nail polish. This 3-month-old terrier named Meysi could be the world’s tiniest pup, weighing in at a measly 3.25 ounces. Awww. At birth, the microscopic pooch weighed just 1.58 ounces and required her owner to feed her every half hour around the clock. “I was feeding her day and night,” says her Polish owner Anna Pohl, “Sometimes I ran out of strength, had to call out of work.” But all those sleepless nights keeping Meysi alive could soon pay off as the itty-bitty hound could soon out-tiny Guinness Book of World Records’ current World’s Smallest Dog. We’ll keep you posted since she won’t be eligible until she turns one. [Source]
