FBI visits amateur photographer, interested in his cloud pics
10/9/2012Attention amateur photographers: if you fancy going out when dark storm clouds are looming overhead to take photos, make sure you're not near a former chemical refinery. That is if you don't want to end up like Texas resident Michael Galindo, who got a visit from the FBI last week over pics he took near Lyondell Refinery above Houston (similar, perhaps, to the file photo above). Apparently, someone on the grounds saw Galindo taking pictures and called police, who were concerned enough to flag the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Joint Terrorism Task Force. Galindo says he didn't recall the incident until the agent mentioned the camera, at which point he remembered and explained he'd just been trying to get a clear line of sight at the cloud cover.
