Great Scott! Michael J. Fox has new TV comedy series in the works
8/16/2012It's more than 20 years since "Family Ties," "Back to the Future" and "Teen Wolf" star Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and 12 since he had a full-time TV gig. But he has heard our pleas and is now working with Sony Pictures to shop a new TV series. He's set to star in the one-camera comedy as a version of himself, with the project being penned by "Cougar Town" writer Sam Laybourne and directed by Will "Friends With Benefits" Gluck. Although Fox has made guest appearances in "Boston Legal," "The Good Wife," and "Rescue Me," this would be his first lead role since he retired from "Spin City" in 2000. [Source]
