The AARP probably could've given Michael Jordan a better birthday gift
2/18/2013What do you get for the man who has pretty much everything? A card that'll give him a discount on everything else. That's what the American Association of Retired Persons passed on to Michael Jordan for his 50th birthday. The organization tweeted a pic Sunday of His Airness' shiny new membership card, which will save him a few bucks the next time he, like, eats at Denny's or goes to Walgreens. You have to be 50 years old to qualify for your own wallet-sized card, but if you could gain AARP membership just by retiring, Jordan could've signed up in 1993. And 1999. And again in 2003.
