R.E.M. slams Fox for playing 'Losing My Religion' during DNC

Michael Stipe is not a shiny, happy person. The lead singer of recently disbanded R.E.M. is furious with Fox News, demanding on Thursday that the network "cease and desist" playing "Losing My Religion" as the theme song for its DNC coverage. "We have no respect for their puff adder brand of reportage," Stipe said. Conservatives are fast running out of music to accompany their cause; Silversun Pickups recently fired off a letter telling Romney to back off, Twisted Sister dissed Paul Ryan, and last year Tom Petty said no way to Michele Bachman.
