Transgender model channels the first lady, awesome arms and all

The magazine cover none of us have been waiting for but all of us will want to gape at has arrived. Candy, which bills itself as "the first transversal style magazine," has featured celebs like James Franco and Chloe Sevigny in drag. But the glossy pub's latest cover is even more startling: transgender model Connie Fleming styled to look "pretty much like Michelle Obama" —  American flag, Bible, statement jewelry, shapely arms and all. Publisher Luis Venegas says when Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton were facing off for the Democratic nomination before the 2008 presidential election, "I thought, 'when will ... the White House be occupied by … a black, transsexual woman?'"
