Michelle Obama didn't want any artsy crap for her second Vogue cover
3/14/2013Michelle Obama and her carefully styled bangs are on the cover of the April issue of Vogue — the second time the first lady has graced the magazine's cover. The striking photo was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, who apparently tried to convince Michelle to do one of the "creative" portraits she's known for. (Remember Whoopi Goldberg in a bathtub full of milk, or a naked John Lennon clinging to Yoko Ono?) The FLOTUS had none of that, opting instead for a straightforward picture in a blue Reed Krakoff sheath dress that she pulled from her own closet. That beats a tub of milk any day. [Source]
