The organization that tracks Santa's travel route has decided to dump Google Maps and use Microsoft's Bing Maps instead to keep eager Claus-watchers posted on the jolly guy's location. North American Aerospace Defense Command started tracking Santa from Peterson Air Force Base in 1955, when a kid phoned the base in hopes of speaking with St. Nick. NORAD has used Google Maps since 2007, but a spokesman says, "NORAD and Google have decided to go their separate ways and pursue other opportunities."
