Don't worry, you're not middle aged 'til you hit 55 now
9/18/2012Yippee, middle age just keeps getting delayed until later in life – 55, it seems, is the new 36. Recent research shows that people don’t consider themselves to be middle aged until 55, when folks used to brand themselves as such when they turned 36. And one in five of the particularly high spirited fogies polled in the British study say they won’t cave in to the middle age label until they hit 60. We’ve all heard the adage that “age is just a number,” but this evidence gives us carte blanche to wear miniskirts and watch silly YouTube videos for years to come. [Source]
