Mormon senator Mike Crapo writes own headline with DUI arrest

The news that Idaho Senator Mike Crapo was arrested for DUI in the early hours of Sunday morning has predictably unleashed a torrent of bad puns and online snickering. Police say an officer saw Sen. Crapo run a red light around 12.45 A.M. in Alexandria, Va., and Sen. Crapo (excuse the repetition of his surname but it’s necessary in this case) then failed several sobriety tests when Sen. Crapo was stopped. Sen. Crapo has made a public apology since his release from police custody with nary a pun in sight and is presumably sticking to lemonade for the rest of the festive period. Or perhaps even longer, being a Mormon and all. [Source]
