Huckabee: Chick-fil-A's anti-gay stance is OK by me
7/23/2012Chick-fil-A, which last week came under fire for its president's anti-gay views, is getting some promotional support from Mike Huckabee. The former Arkansas governor and one-term presidential candidate took to Facebook today to announce that on August 1, he'll be celebrating Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day in support of the chain and its president, Dan Cathy. Some criticized Cathy for declaring his business "guilty as charged" for supporting "the Biblical definition of the family unit." Huckabee wrote on his Facebook page that he has been "incensed at the vitriolic assaults" against Chick-fil-A. With over 400,000 Facebookers on the invite list, nearly 47,000 have already RSVP'd yes to Huckabee's invitation. [Source]
