Ministry guitarist Mike Scaccia dies after collapsing onstage

Mike Scaccia, 47, longtime guitarist for the industrial metal band Ministry, collapsed during a show in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday night and was pronounced dead at a hospital. Scaccia joined Ministry in 1989 when the band steered away from its original new wave/synth-pop incarnation and played with the outfit on and off until they disbanded in 2008. A 2011 reunion led to the 2012 album "Relapse," though their commercial success never rivaled the heights it reached with early '90s hits such as "N.W.O." and "Jesus Built My Hotrod."
