Calm down, Angels fans, your boy Trout has plenty of time to win MVP

11/16/2012

Listen, Mike Trout fans, so what if your man failed to win the MVP or a Gold Glove on Thursday? Remember this: He's only 21 years old. That's TWENTY-ONE YEARS OLD! A number of Los Angeles Angels fans were dismayed when Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers was voted by members of the Baseball Writers' Association of America as the American League's Most Valuable Player, ahead of Trout. Cabrera took 22 of the 28 votes, but hey, he was the first Triple Crown winner in 45 years, which kind of makes it a no-brainer. Not that Angels' fans are happy, but Trout probably has at least another 20 chances to grab the prize. Deep breaths, and relax. [Source]
