Miles Davis and LCD Soundsystem make for an amazing mashup
11/17/2012Miles Davis is dead and LCD Soundsystem disbanded almost two years ago. Somehow, though, they're all still making music, and together no less. This incredible mashup by London-based Alessandro Grespan hit the Internet in 2011 but has seen a huge new surge, and it's no wonder. Taking the band's 2007 song "New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down" and playing it simultaneously with the trumpet legend's haunting solo on the "Elevator to the Gallows" soundtrack from 1958, Grespan came up with one of the most remarkable faux duets ever. But then, we're guessing Miles Davis could make any band sound good.
