Man injured when deer goes buck-wild, attacks him

Last week, Mark Christianson found himself in an interspecies mixed martial arts bout. The 66-year-old Minnesota farmer had just stepped out of his house when he came face-to-face with a deer. Specifically, an eight-point whitetail buck, who did not like the cut of Christianson’s jib. The buck attacked Christianson, standing on his hind legs and "hitting me with the front ones." Taking a beating -- "I wasn't winning" -- Christianson tackled his foe to the ground, then shot the buck dead with his rifle.
